What should be paid attention to when using composite bearings?

1. Keep the bearing and its surrounding environment clean
Even if small dust invisible to the naked eye enters the bearing, it will increase the wear, vibration, and noise of the bearing.

2. Install the bearing according to the instructions
Strong punching is not allowed, and it is not allowed to strike the bearing directly with a hammer.

3. Use precise installation tools
Try to use special tools and try to prevent things like cloth and short fibers.

4. Avoid bearing corrosion
When picking up the bearing directly by hand, first fully wash off the sweat from your hands and apply high-quality mineral oil to the operation. Pay special attention to rust prevention in the rainy season and summer.

5. Bearing device
Before installing, check the device surface of the host. The support should have sufficient strength, and the connecting surface should be smooth and free of debris and burrs.

6. Transportation and storage
During transportation, measures should be taken to avoid sliding and vibration, and auxiliary support should be added when necessary.
Bearings should be placed in a dry, ventilated, and level place, and should be separated from chemicals and other corrosive items during storage. If multiple sets of bearings are required to be stacked, more than three wooden blocks of equal height should be placed evenly between each set along the circumferential direction.

Bearing life
The life of a rolling bearing is defined by the number of revolutions (or working hours at a certain speed). Whether in laboratory experiments or theoretical applications, it can be clearly seen that bearings with the same appearance under the same working conditions have very different theoretical life. In addition, there are several different definitions of bearing "life", the so-called "working life", which means that the cause of bearing damage is also composed of wear, corrosion, seal damage, and other reasons.
