What are oilless bearings, and how do they work?

Oilless bearing is a kind of self-lubricating bearing that combines metal and lubrication characteristics. The metal matrix bears the load, and the solid material of special formula (like graphite) acts as lubrication.


 

The oilless bearing has the characteristics of high carrying capacity, impact resistance, high-temperature resistance, and strong self-lubricating ability.

The sliding bearing of special specifications is suitable for heavy load, low speed, reciprocating or swinging and other occasions that are difficult to lubricate and form an oil film, and are not afraid of water wash and other acids.

Metal-based solid inlaid oilless bearing

  • A high-performance solid lubricating product with graphite and other composite solid lubricants embedded on the metal matrix. It breaks through the limitations of general bearings that rely on oil film lubrication.

Multi-layer composite oil-free bearing

  • With a steel plate as the base, the spherical bronze powder is sintered in the middle, and the surface is rolled with a mixture of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and lead, it is a rolling bearing. It has the characteristics of low friction coefficient, good wear resistance, good corrosion resistance, and no oil lubrication.
